Crimes against children are among some of the most heinous and disturbing that law enforcement come across. Since 1995, the Union County Prosecutor’s Office Child Advocacy Center has provided investigations, prosecutorial, therapeutic, child protective, and medical services for 3,100 families.
Twenty-eight staff members are assigned to the building to handle a continually growing caseload. Our staff members work at the Center, interacting with the more than eleven hundred client families who visit and utilize the Center’s resources each year. Officially opened on October 3, 2012, the new state-of-the-art facility intimately meets the sensitive needs of children and their families. The facility now has sufficient space to properly conduct investigations and individual intake counseling.
